giving
thanks
In
honor
of
Thanksgiving,
I
would
like
to
personally
thank
each
client
and
vendor
for
helping
to
make
this
such
a
successful
year!
You
have
given
me
such
great
feedback
and
the
opportunities
to
make
great
portfolio
pieces
as
well.
Please take a look
at
the
web
site
to
see
recently
added
pieces,
client
testimonials
and
my
updated
profile
page.
Have a safe and
happy
holiday!

Case:
The
client
needed
a
catalog
with
an
easy-to-read
order
form.
The
piece
had
to
be
something
their
audience
would
hold
onto
for
a
year
or
until
they
decided
to
update
and
reprint
it.
After
brainstorming
different
formats
with
the
client,
I
suggested
a
format
similar
to
a
piece
I
had
previously
designed
because
the
size
was
easy
to
fit
on
someone's
desk
or
a
bulletin
board.
The
finished
size
was
4x8.5
inches,
saddle-stitched
and
had
a
back-cover
fold-out
to
accommodate
an
order
form.
However,
this
new
piece
had
more
information
than
my
previous
piece
and
needed
a
larger
font
size
for
their
target
audience.
The
other
decision
that
needed
to
be
made
was
number
of
colors.
Although
it
could
have
been
two
colors,
it
would
have
taken
away
from
the
beautiful
color
cover
designs
that
were
what
needed
to
be
showcased.
Solution:
It
was
decided
that
the
fold-out
would
still
be
the
order
form
but
that
the
entire
order
form
would
be
horizontal
and
run
be
on
the
last
page
as
well
as
the
fold-out.
This
allows
for
the
page
to
be
copied
and
faxed
easily,
as
it
is
close
to
8.5x11
inches
in
size,
and
gives
a
lot
more
room
for
the
order
form.
A
PDF
of
the
final
piece
was
made
and
posted
to
the
client's
site.
The
extended
panel
pages
needed
to
be
slightly
maneuvered
for
the
PDF
so
they
would
be
read
in
the
same
order
as
the
print
version,
and
the
PDF
did
not
need
the
mail
panel.
The
PDF
is
interactive;
it
includes
links
to
each
book's
respective
page
on
the
client's
site,
where
the
books
can
be
purchased.
