Background

Endocrine Society approached us about refreshing the look of Endocrine Case Management: Meet the Professor publication, which is published once a year. The purpose of this book is for readers to learn from experts about the intricacies of case management and decision making.

Problem

The organization’s goal was to revitalize sales of the book by elevating its perceived value. They wanted an updated look that maintained their branding and was more reader friendly.

Solution

We started the process with a publication audit, where we discovered more about the audience and the purpose of the publication. We reviewed the book and discussed potential design issues that could be addressed to achieve their goals.

We then refreshed the look of the publication, creating a new template and providing more flexibility for additional digital publishing options. We also laid out the issue in its entirety.
