Background: The Productive Aging Award Dinner is an annual fundraising event for the Jewish Council for the Aging. It honors a senior citizen who has had a thriving career as well as a humanitarian awardee.

Problem: JCA needed a design featuring the honoree and humanitarian awardee that would encourage people to attend, donate or pay for ads in the program.

Solution: The design for this event is fun, upbeat and elegant thanks to the use of a curvy tree illustration, bright colors and circles. The tree, symbolic of growth, and vibrant colors reinforce the “productive aging” theme. The smaller circles feature writing-themed icons to reflect the fact that the awardee is an author and journalist.
